Who You Are:

You have a proven track record of supporting internal audit or financial fraud investigations and working collaboratively to identify and mitigate fraud risk. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with a diverse team. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze potentially fraudulent applicants to determine state of fraud
  • Document fraud elevation procedures precisely in all instances
  • Work with internal resources, third party servicing, and local authorities to prompt and support fraud investigations
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of internal controls
  • Continuous education on best-in-class fraud processes
  • Work with existing and new fraud vendors to document, understand and optimize data around potential fraud 

What You’ll Need:

  • A minimum of one year of related work experience in Public Accounting, Internal Audit or Investigations
  • *Night & Weekend Availability Required*
  • Knowledge and experience in internal controls, fraud schemes and internal investigations
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with successful experience in obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing data to support fraud investigations
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and summarize data analyses for use in fraud investigations
  • Familiarity and experience working with fraud detection technologies and data analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field a plus
  • Previous work experience with SQL or equivalent a plus
