We’re looking for a talented front-end web developer with a strong background in React. You will be working cross functionally with the product, design, and other engineering teams on a wide variety of projects that powers Fair’s completely digital car ownership experience. What You’ll Do:

  • Build scalable and flexible web experiences that powers the future of car ownership
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers, design and product teams to plan new features and drive improvements
  • Provide accurate estimates on project complexity and delivery time
  • Work with internal and external engineering teams to execute on projects in a timely and resourceful manner
  • Work in a fast pace environment, be able to adapt to changing priorities and scope as needed 

What You’ll Have: 

  • A strong background in developing modern interactive web experiences using React, HTML5, CSS3
  • Ability to work closely with designers to come up with great user experiences, and execute on agreed upon designs and experiences accurately
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with people of technical and nontechnical backgrounds
  • Self starter with a friendly, can do attitude
  • Be able to work autonomously or in a team environment
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience 

Bonus:

  • Experience with Node.js, Webpack, Redux or MobX
  • Knowledge of grid layouts such as Bootstrap
  • Experience with defining complex API interfaces in JSON or GRPC
  • Any backend experience with Ruby / Python frameworks
  • Any UX test automation frameworks such as Selenium
  • Any open source project contributions
