What You’ll Do:

  • Lead daily coordination of transportation needed for customer orders and returns
  • Provide weekly updates on the team’s KPIs and OKRs
  • Onboard new transport vendors and analyze vendor performance to ensure that they are abiding by our contracted agreements
  • Identify areas of improvement with current processes as well as with the vendor and team’s performance
  • Responsible to ensure that transportation requests are processed with the correct transporter
  • Follow vehicles to ensure orders are delivered upon agreed timeline
  • Investigate and track vehicles through the entire transportation lifecycle
  • Monitor and communicate vehicle status to the team and other stakeholders
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any breaks in transportation
  • Providing real time transport information
  • Perform audits to ensure accuracy of fees and days to delivery
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to determine status updates, vehicle locations and to gather information to ensure contractual agreements are met
  • Serve as point of contact for transport team

 What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of Experience Managing a team of 5+ associates
  • 5+ years in the Transportation Industry or with Logistics management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Adaptable to process and system changes
  • Detail oriented with ability to make good judgements and solve problems
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls
  • High-level of Autonomy required
  • Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills; strong follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical, and leadership skills; project management is a plus
