Transportation Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day to day operations of Transportation Specialists
  • Handle vehicle escalations from multiple departments
  • Assisting with specialist functions (specifically loss mitigation)
  • Emerging market research, vetting vendors
  • Establishing capacity & vendor viability in each market
  • Optimizing network (Reducing costs, vendor network)
  • KPI & OKR financial reporting
  • Build processes/SOP’s

 What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of Experience Managing a team of 5+ associates
  • 5+ years in the Transportation Industry or with Logistics management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Adaptable to process and system changes
  • Detail oriented with ability to make good judgements and solve problems
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls
  • High-level of Autonomy required
  • Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills; strong follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical, and leadership skills; project management is a plus
