Fair is a digital, end-to-end platform that allows customers to shop, get approved, sign, and pay for a car all on their phone.
Unlike a traditional lease, when a customer signs for a car, Fair buys it from you as a tax-deferred retail sale and pays you once all necessary documents are received. Also, Fair has no term, allowing customers to return the car any time. Similar to a lease, the customer is registered to the car and added to the title as a lessee.
Because Fair is the buyer, any required paperwork is between you and Fair. To make things easy, we give you power of attorney to sign on Fair's behalf.

When a customer decides on a car, Fair contacts you to confirm availability and verify vehicle information. The customer signs all required forms and disclosures in the Fair app, and helps you schedule a time for the customer to pick up the vehicle. Once you deliver the car and mark it delivered in the Fair Dealer Portal, the deal is booked. ACH payment will be scheduled once all necessary sales documents are completed and copies of the title and registration documents that were submitted to the state are provided to Fair.
Fair's program is only available for pre-owned and certified pre-owned cars and has minimum eligibility requirements around mileage and age. Fair also requires every vehicle to have a clean AutoCheck report and a clear title. If a vehicle fits these requirements and is priced at or below the "Fair Program Max", it will be available for customers to select in the Fair app. Please email dealerteam@fair.com with any questions.
Fair does not publish purchase prices in the app. Instead, cars in the Fair app are displayed with a monthly payment.
You can reduce pricing or increase pricing up to your list price as often as you like, except with respect to a customer who has already expressed interest in your car through the Fair app.
Fair updates your inventory every 24 hours.
Cars are automatically removed from Fair every 24 hours when you remove them from your inventory feed. To be safe, a Fair customer cannot sign for your car until you confirm it's available.
