In order to receive the first week free offer from Fair you must meet the following requirements: be 21+ in age, be a new customer to Fair and a new driver-partner on the Uber driver platform, have a valid Uber driver account, and pay your refundable security deposit. New to the Uber driver platform is defined as having never completed a trip with Uber. Only one offer per driver and valid for a limited time. Terms subject to change.
If you qualify for the first week free offer, your account will automatically be populated with enough Fair Credits to cover your first weekly payment after you sign your contract. When completing your reservation in the Fair app, you will be taken to the Payments screen. On the Payments screen, after paying your refundable security deposit, you will be prompted to complete your first weekly payment. You can redeem your first week free by tapping “Apply Credits” and then tapping “Pay First Weekly Payment”. If you choose not to apply the Fair Credits to your first weekly payment, you can use those credits towards future payments.
Yes. Your only required payment for your first week is the $195 refundable security deposit.
No. You can return the Fair car on or before the end of Day 7 if you do not want to extend your rental. If you do not return the car by noon on Day 8, it will auto-renew for another 7 days and we will charge you upfront the weekly payment of $195 plus tax. The weekly payment will not be prorated for returns made before the end of any 7-day period.
To receive this incentive you must meet the following requirements: Have been a valid Lyft Express Drive customer in good standing in the last 30 days, provide valid proof of your Lyft Express Drive payment stub within the last 30 days at time of vehicle pickup, be a new customer to the Fair weekly program for Uber, and complete 70 trips with Uber within 2 weeks of obtaining the Fair car.
You will receive the incentive as $250 in Fair Credits from Fair. You will be able to apply these Fair Credits to future weekly car payments to Fair in the Fair App.

Yes. Customers that are eligible for the first week free offer are also eligible to receive the “Switch from Lyft Express Drive” incentive. After applying your first week free Fair Credits to your first weekly payment, your only required payment that week will be a $195 refundable security deposit. You will then earn the $250 in Fair Credits for switching after meeting the requirements noted above.
The special Fair offer for Uber Pro applies to Uber driver-partners who are in a qualifying Uber Pro tier (Gold, Platinum, Diamond). Check your Uber Pro tier status in the Uber Driver app.
Fair for Uber drivers who are in a qualifying Uber Pro tier and have a Fair car on the last day of each calendar month, will receive Fair Credits in their Fair Wallets. Drivers in the Gold tier will recieve $10 in Fair Credits, Platinum drivers will recieve $20 in Fair Credits, and Diamond drivers will recieve $40 in Fair Credits.
Please allow five business days for your Fair Credits to appear in your Fair Wallet. The Fair Credits may be manually applied to subsequent weekly car payments to Fair before payment due dates.

No. As long as you are pre-approved to drive for Uber, have $195 for a refundable security deposit and your first weekly payment of $195 plus tax, you can get a car from Fair to start driving and earning with Uber.
All Fair cars for Uber driver partners are $195/week (plus taxes). This payment includes insurance, unlimited miles, roadside assistance, routine maintenance, and the option to renew week-to-week.
Each week you can earn rewards from Uber that you can use to cover some or all of the cost of your weekly Fair car payment (excluding taxes). For details see here

Uber driver-partners with Fair cars qualify for trip surge areas and may qualify for weekly rewards to earn on top of the fares as described above (regardless of Uber Pro tier), but may not qualify to participate in other Uber promotional offers such as Boost, Consecutive Trips, or other Quest promotions.

Your Fair car comes with insurance, unlimited miles, 24/7 roadside assistance, a limited vehicle warranty, basic routine maintenance and an option to renew week-to-week.

No. When you return your Fair car, just make sure that the tank is more than a quarter of the tank full to prevent an additional charge of $30.
You can return your Fair car at the same location that you picked it up from. Our opening hours are Mon-Fri 10.30AM - 4.30PM PT Sat-Sun 10.30AM-1.30PM PT. To cancel the auto-renew, simply bring the car back to the Fair Station before noon on the 8th day (e.g. If you picked up on Monday, return it before noon the following Monday).
The minimum use period is 7 days, including for any renewal. If you return earlier than 7 days, you will still be charged for the full 7 days. You can return the Fair car by the end of the 7 day period if you do not want to extend your use. If you do not return the car by the end of the 7 day period, it will auto-renew for another 7 days and we will charge your Weekly Payment.
You can cancel your reservation from the app if you choose not to pick-up a car. Fair will initiate a refund which may take 5 - 10 days to process depending on your bank.
Select the Fair station location most convenient for you in the app. This location is where you will choose and pick up your Fair car. You will then select the day and time period you want to pick up your car. The opening hours of Fair Stations are Mon-Fri 10:30AM - 4:30PM PT and Sat-Sun 10:30AM-1:30PM PT.
No. Once Uber confirms your assignment to your Fair car, you should be able to take your first Uber trip. If you have any issues, please chat us in the app or call us at (866) 579-1131. Please note that you may have to visit the Greenlight Hub to receive airport placards to qualify for airport pickups.
Fair may in some instances ask you to bring the Fair car into a Fair Station for a quick inspection.
Fair cars are available at multiple Fair Stations throughout California in the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles Area, and San Diego. You will be able to choose a Fair Station directly in the app. Our opening hours are Mon-Fri 10:30AM - 4:30PM PT and Sat-Sun 10:30AM-1:30PM PT.
Right now, the program is available in select locations in California: San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles Greater Area, Sacramento and San Diego; Atlanta; Vienna, Virginia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois.
After signing your contract, you will be instructed to go to a Fair Station to pick your Fair car. Fair will have a selection of models, which may include cars like Hyundai Sonatas, Nissan Altimas, Toyota Corollas, and Hyundai Elantras.
For the refundable security deposit and first week’s payment, credit cards and debit cards are accepted. For recurring payments, credit cards, debit cards and ACH are accepted.
Before you pick up your Fair car at a Fair station, you’ll pay a $195 refundable security deposit to Fair and you will also be charged your first weekly payment of $195 (plus tax).
You must use your own credit or debit card to pay.
You can use different cards to pay for your refundable security deposit and your first week’s payment. In addition, a separate credit card or debit card may be used to pay for recurring payments.
The refundable deposit is a security deposit that will be charged to your payment method before you pick up your Fair car. It will carry over if you choose to recontract to stay in the same car, until you return your Fair car.
When you return your Fair car, your security deposit may be applied to any amounts owed to Fair, which may include past due payments, damage or gas charges. Fair will email you a final bill showing either the amount that will be refunded or any final charges outstanding. If you get a new Fair car, you will need to submit a new security deposit.
Return your Fair car before noon on the 8th day of your contract (for example, if you picked up on Monday, return it the following Monday before noon).
As long as you return it to a Fair Station by that time, you won’t be charged for the next week. Fair will email you a bill with the final charges.
Fair will send you a notice if your auto-payment did not process. Your card may have expired or the number may have changed. To update your payment information and make a 1-time payment, please do so in your app or click here to go straight to the in-app payment page.
If you’d like to stay in your Fair car beyond 28 days, you can sign a new contract directly in the Fair app. If you keep the maintenance on your Fair car up to date, you’ll be able to sign a new contract immediately. Otherwise, you may need to bring the Fair car back to a Fair Station before you can sign a new contract.

Otherwise, you may need to bring the Fair car back to a Fair Station before you can sign a new contract.
If you do not wish to re-contract, simply bring your Fair car to the nearest Fair Station by no later than 12pm of the day after your contract ends (28 days).
If you do not return the Fair car as required, please note that Fair will have the right to recover the Fair car as allowed by law and the contract.
Auto liability insurance comes with limits of: $50,000 bodily injury per person/$100,000 bodily injury per accident/$50,000 property damage per accident while driving for personal use and collision comprehensive coverage with a $1,000 deductible.
Basic routine maintenance covers routine oil and filter changes, multi-point inspections, as well as tire rotations and topping off of fluids as needed.

If necessary, contact the police and medical personnel. You may need your insurance ID card, you can find that in the App under the Documents section.
Your ID card contains a link which will allow you to initiate the claims process. If your car is safely operable, we'll let you know where to take the car for repairs. If it's not safely operable, we will arrange to have the car towed. You do not need to take the car back to your Fair Station.
Yes, but don’t worry – we’ll cover the cost of routine maintenance so long as you have the work performed at one of our approved service center partners.
Simply tell the partner representative that you have a Fair car, with maintenance managed by Donlen. The partner will confirm that your Fair car is covered by Fair and will handle billing behind the scenes. There is no charge to you for routine maintenance.
We will reach out to you via email, text, or in-app notifications to let you know when your Fair car needs maintenance. Generally, the Fair car requires maintenance at least every 5,000 miles.
We will give you plenty of notice to have the Fair car maintained. If you do ultimately fail to bring the Fair car in for routine maintenance, we will recover the Fair car as you will be in breach of our contract.
No. Maintenance must be performed at one of Fair’s approved service center partners. If you choose to bring a Fair car back to the Fair Station, it will be considered a returned car. We do not issue partial credits for time remaining on your 7-day rental period and we may not have a replacement car available for you at that time.
No. Fair will only cover the cost of maintenance if the work is performed at one of our approved service center partners.
It’s great to hear that you’re so handy, but the answer is no. You are not permitted to perform any work or maintenance services yourself on a Fair car.
